About Arran
Diagnosed with severe dyslexia at the age of 9, my lived experience has shaped the way I think, communicate, solve problems and create opportunities. Technology has been a significant part of that journey, from assistive technology that removes barriers in my own life to exploring how Artificial Intelligence can transform the way we work, learn, communicate and build organisations. I am passionate about ensuring that innovation remains accessible, responsible and centred around people.
My professional journey has taken me from grassroots community organisations and charities through to entrepreneurship, education, consultancy and global technology. I spent more than 5 years working with Microsoft as its UK Dyslexia and SEND Consultant, supporting accessibility and inclusive technology within education. I have created and developed businesses, built communities, advised education organisations and created the UK’s first national exhibition dedicated to dyslexia.
Alongside my commercial work, I have significant Non Executive Director, governance and strategic leadership experience within the charity and not for profit sector, including working with organisations such as the British Dyslexia Association. This has given me experience of looking beyond day to day operations to consider strategy, governance, sustainability, organisational development and the long term impact an organisation wants to create. My work across charities, membership organisations and community networks has reinforced my belief that purpose needs strong strategy if it is going to create sustainable change.
Today, I bring these different experiences together. My work sits at the intersection of neurodiversity, business, technology, Artificial Intelligence and inclusive innovation. I work with individuals through coaching, communication and personal development, and with organisations through consultancy, strategy, training and professional development. My approach is about challenging thinking, building understanding, identifying opportunities and turning ideas into practical action that creates meaningful and sustainable change.
My career has never followed a conventional path, and that has become one of my greatest strengths. I bring lived experience together with entrepreneurship, strategic thinking, curiosity and more than 20 years of professional knowledge. I am interested not simply in what exists today, but in what we can create next.
Different thinking has shaped my life. I now use that perspective to challenge thinking, create opportunities and help shape what comes next.
Mission, Philosophy & Ethics
My Mission
"To empower people and organisations to think differently, embrace innovation, and build inclusive environments where technology, leadership, and human potential work together to create meaningful and lasting change."
My Philosophy
Whether supporting an individual, advising an organisation or delivering a keynote presentation, my approach begins with understanding people before processes, strengths before challenges and possibilities before limitations.
I believe neurodiversity is not simply about removing barriers. It is about recognising different ways of thinking and understanding the value they can bring to creativity, innovation, problem solving and performance.
Through empathy, innovation and strategic thinking, I want to help create environments where inclusion becomes a driver of opportunity rather than simply a compliance exercise.
My Ethics
Technology should empower people, not replace them.
I believe Artificial Intelligence has enormous potential to improve accessibility, communication, productivity, creativity and learning, but with that opportunity comes responsibility.
My approach to AI is human centred, accessible and responsible. Technology should enhance human thinking while maintaining meaningful human involvement. We should continually ask not only what AI can do, but what it should do, who it benefits and who might be excluded.
For me, ethical innovation means using technology to increase human potential, remove barriers and create opportunities that can be shared by everyone.

Coaching and Support
Understand yourself. Work differently. Move forward.
One-to-one coaching for neurodiverse individuals who want to better understand themselves, recognise what works for them and make practical changes in work, life and everyday situations. Together, we explore your strengths, difficulties, experiences and goals to find approaches that work for you.
Understand Yourself
Build a clearer understanding of how your neurodiversity affects the way you think, work, communicate and experience everyday life. Start to recognise the patterns, situations and environments that influence how you feel, respond and perform.
Recognise What Works
Explore your strengths, existing strategies and the environments or approaches that help you work at your best. Identify what already supports you so you can use those approaches more intentionally and consistently.
Explore What Could Change
Look at the things that are getting in the way and explore practical strategies, technology, AI and different ways of approaching them. Consider what could be adapted, simplified or done differently to reduce unnecessary difficulty and create more sustainable ways of working.
Move Forward
Turn greater understanding into realistic actions and changes that work for you, rather than trying to fit somebody else’s way of doing things. Focus on practical next steps that you can test, review and build on as your understanding develops.
Working Together
Turning understanding into action
I work with individuals, organisations, educators and leaders who want to understand neurodiversity, embrace Artificial Intelligence and create more inclusive ways of working, learning and thinking. Through consultancy, coaching, speaking and strategic support, I bring together lived experience, more than 20 years of professional knowledge and a curiosity for what could be done differently. Whether we are solving a challenge, developing an idea or exploring new opportunities, my approach is about understanding where you are now and helping you move forward.
